Jayma, one of the MTC forum members posted a treat bag, designed from a lunch sack. It is the cutest little file. I needed it to fit printer sheet, so I altered it a bit and - with her permission - have the file here for you to download.
Here's what her treat bag looks like in comparison with my altered version. I made it shorter and wider so I could print it out and cut it from 8.5 x 11" paper.
As you can see, I am not very adept at tying bows :-( I tried it with the first one and then gave it up! The other ones have a staple underneath the flap to hold them closed and then a little repositionable glue on the flap to keep it down. My shorter ones are about 4" tall. They are the perfect size for a brownie or Rice Krispy treat square.
Of course, I wanted to try something with the Monster Love pack at Lettering Delights (see this post to get it for free).
I just had to change some of colors to blue for the little boys who would not be too happy to get a pink bag (even if it did have a treat in it and a monster on it!), so I altered the colors in PhotoShop Elements.
Don't you just love the touch of white on the scallop?? Me, too! When I printed the design, I deliberately left an edge plain so that it would be white. Here's a screen shot of my virtual mat.
OK, here's what you have been waiting for - the file! I cannot share the graphics (even though they are free you have to get them yourself from Lettering Delights) but here is the file. Thanks again, Jayme!!
