Free MTC cutting file - Paperclip book mark

Smash books are all the hit, and Linda of The Paper Boutique (in her post here) shows how to make a bookmark out of a paperclip file from one of the cricut cartridges. Well anything that you can do on a cartridge can be done with MTC - easier and cheaper! So here is my version of the file, as others have used it.
Sharon made a simple but elegant paperclip book mark

Reba's first book mark was another simple one...
...but she also welded a rabbit to it for an interesting variation.

I used the heavy Staples Photo Supreme matte paper (9 mil) and it was not quite heavy enough (I used three layers). I think I will try to cut one clip out of cereal board for the support before I glue everything together.
Here is what my layout looked like.

I cut this from MTC to the Cameo (yes, I caved and got it when it was less than $220 at Oh My Crafts - it is still on sale, use the code 2012 to get 20% off!), using the new blade set to depth of 3, force of 33, speed of 10. There were a few places that did not cut completely, next time I will try a depth of 4 and a lower force.

The paperclip file is my own design (link is below), the cupcake is from Echo Parks Little Girl graphic set and the Good Book saying is from Lettering Delights Toad-ally School SVG set.
The paperclip is made of basic shapes (circles and rectangles) using Boolean Joins and welds.
You can get the paperclip file (no additional graphics) from box.net here.  I included the parts used to make it (so you can alter the length if desired), the plain clip, and the clip with a circle attached. There are 2 pages, so check out both of them.

Remember - only 4 more days until Holli-Dollar days at Lettering Delights are over! The above set is on sale for just $2 right now.
